Hey, my son is about to be 18 months old I
On the 19th, I am really wanting to get him out of diapers. We have a sticker chart and everything we need. Today is our first day and he hasn't went yet. I just wanted any helpful advice.

Make it his thing not yours. Just like walking you did not pick a date and say on thus date you will be walking and that is that. It is his learning to do when he is ready. Generally boys don't train until 3 to 3 1/2 years old. Their muscle that controls that tends to develop closer to 3 yrs old. Encourage him but don't push.....it only makes the process more frustrating and much longer. Make sure he is showing signs he is ready to potty train. If he is not and you push it you only set yourself up for a battle down the road and a LONG road of potty training.
