PREGNANCY TEST ONE DARK LINE 1 VERY LGHT PINK LINE SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME

With my daughter I tested about 2 days after I expected to get my period. The first test I did looked negative at first. Then I looked at it again a minute later, and noticed a very pale line. I wasn't sure if it was really there or not, so I took another test the next day. The line on the second test was a little darker and easier to see. If you are pregnant, and the test was right, you'll have to go to the doctor anyway. Just go to the doctor to make sure you know either way. The sooner you find out if you're pregnant, the better.

The second line in a home test is usually very light--it will never show up as dark as the first one, and even well into the pregnancy is usually only half as dark as the first line.
A faint line is still a positive. A false positive is very, very rare. A false negative is more common. I agree with the other ladies, I would go to the doctor and have a blood test done. I have a busy schedule too--I know it's hard to carve out time to get to a doctor's office, but this is important.

I got 1 faint line and one darker line when I first took a test you are pregnant it is to do with your hormones they are stronger in the morning when our hgc level are high take another one then. I hope that helped you

Retake the test. Usually when it comes out one dark line one very light pink means that it is positive; however, you should make an appointment with a doctor. If this is something you want, then do it. Babies are a blessing and i promise you that this baby will make your life much easier...Easier because of the love that they baby will bestow to you...it is very hard taking care of a baby because when a baby is born; it doesn't come with instructions...But you will see how much life has to offer with a blessing of a child. My doctor told me that although you can get false negatives (the test says you're not pregnant when you really are) there are no false positives (it says you are when you're not), so if you got even a faint line, then it's a safe bet that you're pregnant.

usually the test will come out negative...that is why it's best to take the test a month later. Example: if you missed your period November 2 then take the test a week before december 2nd you will have the accurate results. I hope this was helpful...

Hi Valerie, I am in almost the exact place. I had the depo shot and since my period has been all over the place. I took a test (it was a $9) and it was the same result. So I went to a clinic and got a better test and they told me I am 2 weeks or so, that is why is faint but in a few weeks I get an ultrasound for them to determine how far along I really am..... so my advice is go get a test at a clinic or doctor, is your best choice

With my last child I kept getting negative tests until I was 2 months along. I ended up going to the doctors cause I didn't start my period but kept getting negative tests. When I went they gave me a test and said it was very faint but was positive so they did blood tests and an ultrasound and It showed I was 2 months for sure.

those dollar store tests are very inaccurate trust me my sister took them and the same thing happened to her until she took a real one the first response and discovered she was actually pregnant. so either try to get a real test or just wait til your period comes on and i know that is the hardest part.

from experience myself about 3 weeks ago, you my dear are more than likely pregnant! I had 3 negatives, then started to get very very light positives. I'm talking so light I thought my mind was tricking me into seeing it. It was suggested to wait a couple of days and retest, however I'm extremely impatient! I bought about a weeks worth of different brands. 4 dollar store ones (yes they work!) I tested every morning. The next one I took was negative, or I just couldn't see the line, but by day 3, I was getting a very clear positive. Im now 7 weeks pregnant and have already seen the little bean in an ultrasound =). Congrats!

Its ok if the test come up negative in the morning I would go doctors and ask for blood test or they will do you a pregnancy test there as there tests are stronger ones

wow maybe i just should go with the result from the 1st test i still havent retested the last test i took was 11-3-2013 should i wait a little longer or should i just retest now?

Any bit of faint color means PREGNANT! The hormones in your body, whether strong or weak, reacts with the test, thus changing the color of the line.

Just a little advice don't use a pregnancy test from the dollar store. Even after I had found out I was pregnant and had an ultra sound done I did on just to see and it came back negative both times AFTER I was already confirmed I was pregnant.

Yes I had the same thing happen to me 7 years ago!!!! I went through 5 test 3 were positive and 2 were negative!!!!! I used the remedy called "THE BEST OUT OF" Besides the test...I knew somehow my body just felt prego!!! I sware its something that u feel way before you can actually feel the butterflies! Listen to your heart!!!!!

cause the first test using first response test i took came back with one dark line and one very light pink line but when i retook the test with the test frm dollar tree it came back with one line twice so you can imagine how confused am right now

With my son I took 2 pregnancy tests from the drug store and both showed negative... Yet I knew I wasn't myself and something was up haha.. So eventually I went to dr and got a urine test which showed positive.. :-) so in the future I don't think I would even bother trying the home testers. Because If i was indeed pregnant , it was important to know so I could start taking prenatal pill folic acid, staying away from a glass of wine etc etc! Haha

It sounds to me like you're pregnant. If you're really worried, go to the doctor's office/Urgent Care. If it's not a big deal, wait a couple of days and try again. I've never had a blood test to find out if I was pregnant. The doctors that I've seen always just did urine tests.

If you are busy alot you can always call your local hospital and find out the hours of the lab. You do not need an order from doctor to get the blood test. I know where I live it cost $15.00. Good luck.

I had that happen to me, and I was pregnant. However I didn't have any negative tests at all. If others were negative, I would say it was a defective test.

nine times out of ten if you feel you are go to the clinic and let them take a blood test that way you will know for sure

It's best to use the first urine of the day. Take one in the morning and read it at the correct time. If you leave them too long you can get a false reading.

Check on the box. Maybe it is an invalid test. Since it is just $1.00 get a few more and test early in the morning. If it was me I would be too eager to wait to know for sure :)

You have to be careful with any at home test period.. I had taken 3 at home pregnancy test wen I was pregnant with my daughter and every one of them said negative.. Including the one I took th day before I went to the dr and found out I was right at 3 months prego!

I agree with Michelle, could be faulty or you may be preggo and blood test is the most accurate test there is. I'd make an appointment just to be safe.

With my first child I took a preg test and the horizontal line was dark but then a very faint line appeared and it turned out I was 2 months pregnant.

so just because 1 line is very light pink doesnt mean that im not pregnant so there is a chance that i may be then? when would probably be the best time to retest? this is the 1st time i have ever had a test come back like that

That's the only way to know for sure though. It's very rare to have a false positive though so you will need to go to the doctor and get confirmation as well as start your prenatal care.

yea the only problem with that is i work alot and dont really have the time to go to the doctor betwen work and my kids im constantly on the go

Go and see your doctor and get a blood test done. They are more accurate.
