Privacy invader!!

I'm not a mom. I'm a 17 year old, and I have no clue what to do about my mom always invading my privacy. She's done this for years now! She has all my passwords, checks everything like every 5 hours. So I feel like I shouldn't even have a phone! This is getting out of hand. HELP! What should I do.

You should live with it. Your parents are responsible for your every move until you are legally an adult at 18, and they must feel the need to monitor you this closely. If you aren't doing anything wrong, what's your worry?
At this point, your texts and messages shouldn't be of anything sexual in nature, and you should be proving to your parents that they have raised a responsible, capable young woman.
Once you're 18, you can exert your privacy options on electronics. I recommend that, SOON, you start getting ready to be on your own, so that you won't have any privacy concerns. This is going to require a pretty decent cushion, so do you have a job? Are you going to graduate HS soon? ARE YOU READY TO BE AN ADULT???

You're living in your parents' home, rent free, and being well taken care of, I'd assume. I understand that you feel you need more privacy, but at this point, you really only have the right to a private journal, and privacy in your personal space (which means parents should knock and wait for permission to enter.) This in no way includes electronic items at this point.
