Resources for new moms

Hi everyone! I am a new mother to a 6 month old baby girl. Things have been quite rocky for a while (she got an ear infection, I got the flu, and god knows what else) and I was wondering if anyone had any resources they turn to when it comes to your baby's health? Any feedback would be great! Thanks :) Sara

Shawnn Lively and Amy- Thank you for your responses! I was browsing the web for advice earlier today, and I found this amazing new feature that gives parenting tips (well, they have other topics too): I just subscribed to a bunch of topics. I hope you guys find it useful!

I found that my doctor was amazing, we interviewed pediatricians to find him and whenever we were concerned that there was something wrong he always squeezed us in.

For the first 2 years, my godsend was the nurse line at the hospital. The one they give you as a "questions" line...boy, they had to have heard from me at least once a week for awhile!

And, my gran who had been a pediatric nurse was a great resource to me. But, she was more for the old fashioned remedies, etc.

A good pediatrician or nurse practitioner that is patient and will answer your questions without making you feel stupid is also a must!

Congrats on your baby girl, and welcome to being a mom!
