Restless nights

The past few nights my baby has been really restless during sleep. He tosses and turns and whimpers. He was all over my bed last night. Around 3:30 he was awake and that never happens, so I bounced him back to sleep and he continued to be restless during sleep. What on earth could cause this? I can't sleep through him doing that and I'm sure his sleep isn't top notch, either. Help??
I tried feeding him and he would eat but then go back to being restless, also. @ 8mths old......wot do I do?

Hey hi Edith its been almost a week since ur post i hope ur problem is solved by now . I wil still share my experience . My baby did the same when she was eight months old . .. Ur little one could be teething . Teehing pains occur more at night and once the teeth pops out of gums the pain stops . or it could be sleep regression . Sleep disrupts for some babies at 8 ,9 or 10 month . Since ur baby is learning new things eg . Crawling and going through developmental leap that their brain is too wired to settle down . i co sleep with my baby so when she got up i tried feeding her back to sleep . When she refused feed s i gently rocked her back to sleep . It was tiring though sinc she stopped napping during day time . . but she was fine and back to normal in about two weeks . I really hope this helps . However if u feel something is wrong do mention it to ur dr . . Tk cr . May god bless u n ur little one .
