my 2 month old just received half of her 2 month vaccinations two days ago (i split them up) but one of the vaccines she received was the rotavirus vaccine and today she started to have thinner bowel movements much more often with a little bit of blood and a little bit of mucus in them. anyone experience this with the rotavirus vaccination? and is it seriously. if it continues for a few more bowel movements i am going to take her back to the dr.

Call your pediatrition immediatly. I don't know how your Dr's office is but the practice I go they have someone on call. If it is serious they will open the office for you to come in anytime of the night and weekends. So if the practice you go to doesn't offer these services go to the ER. That's what I would do.

I've never heard of anybody having problems but blood in the stool is always a reason to take your child to the doctors immediately. Bloody stool is not normal and should always be taken seriously.
