My four month old daughter seems to always have scratches on her face. People say this is normal, but I hate seeing them. Sometimes she draws blood!!!! I regularly keep her nails short and filed, but they are still sharp. I tried the mittens, but she does not like them and within seconds she takes them off. Any suggestions on what I should do? The only thing I do now is clip and file her nails and bandage up her scratches.

Socks or mittens is the best bet. There are actually rompers out there that have built in mittens. Good luck, honey. But it will pass, they eventually get better about the scratching.

Sounds like you are doing things right. babies are hard with thier hands. Watch out if she really cuts herself. My cousin did that and had was scarred for life. Sorry but it can happen. She will outgrow this............she needs to learn to handle her hands.
