Since the last..4 days, my daughter Alana hasn't been herself.
She's been having this cough and sneezing during the day, and I hear her coughing at night. She hasn't been eating her food like her usual self, she recently got in her first molar and I think she's working on another. Also she has this bad rash, and it's been bleeding a little bit since the last fews days too. I know could it be from teething but what about her other things like her coughing and sneezing and not eating.. help please.

Many children don't eat well while working on teeth. Also the coughing could be cause from excess spit in their mouths from teething also. Sneezing?? thats a new one to me, but if you are concerned call the doctor.

The rash sounds like my nephew....the acid they swallow during teething can cause one - his pedi has confirmed this and there is a cream they prescribe. As for the coughing and sneezing....sounds like either a cold or an allergy. We had to take my daughter to a specialist to confirm she has asthma triggered by allergies. Best thing to do is talk to your daughter's pedi and see what specialist they recommend if you are not comfortable with their answers.

Just to be safe take her to the doctor...if you don't think she is herself then i wouldn't be asking for advice on here i would be taking my daughter to the doctors right might just be from teething but i would rather be safe then sorry. Good Luck and i hope she gets better soon!

When there is a concern... always either call or take her to the doctor. Sounds like it might be her teeth but why take a chance. My daughter would always get a very bad diaper rash when teething. BUTT PASTE works wonderfully. Make sure tush is clean and dry then put on paste. Let it dry for a minute or 2 then diaper. Other wise it just sticks to diaper. Good luck!

kids very often won't eat much if they are sick, teething, ear infection etc.. I would just call the doctor or nurse and tell them of the there fever?..just make sure she is getting water or liquids down so she doesn't get dehydrated, and that there are calories in the liquid, like juices, soups etc.

It can be but i would take her into the doctor about the rash. Couch and sneezing could be a cold, or even asthma...
