My doctor told me to give my son a sippy cup with his formula and he is almost 10 months old and he will take the sippy cup all day but I don't know how to get him to take it before bed because at that time he only wants a bottle! I don't know what to do... any suggestions

My boy was like yours...fine with the cups during the day but at bedtime he wanted his ba-ba! What I did was start putting ONLY water in the bottle. He still got the bottle at bedtime, but it only has water in it...nothing exciting. If he wants good stuff, that's in the cup. Only water in the bottle and after maybe 3 nights of that...he was bored with the bottle and never looked back.

And by a cup with a straw I mean the ones with lids. I prefer the Playtex turn and lock ones.

I skipped a sippy cup and went right to a cup with a straw. They have to suck on a straw the same way they do a bottle nipple or a regular nipple. There's no huge foreign piece of semi-hard plastic in their mouth...I don't know, it was just easier for both of us.

I would do what works...honestly he is doing fine if he takes the cup all day and needs a little bottle at night. Plus he is 10 months old and still a pretty little guy. He probably still has the need to suck for comfort. I would hold off a little longer to make him go cold turkey from his bottle.
