Get the dental work done that needs done and make sure you floss and brush his teeth every night from here on out.... limiting juice and sugar. No soda, sports drinks, or night time bottles (if he still has one). If there is another pediatric dentist in your area I would 'probably' get a second opinion before having the teeth removed... just in case there is another option. You don't want to let it go too long though as it can have a negative impact on his future teeth as well.
