special need mom

HI I have a special need child that i love with all my heart... he is a lovely boy he's 6 years old, when he was 15 months the doctors told me he wouldn't be able to walk , talk, or do anything. it was hard but i didn't gave up,, he's been through alot. and he still is , doing alot of test and study on him.. i work very hard that even Rainbows didn't belive that at 2 years he was walking, he do not talk yet but he is trying , and doing very well, hes very active.. i have a question now this year i was thinking to get a short career because I can be in a long career Im not that young anymore ,, the point is that i would love to start something like associate or assistant or certificate to help kids with special needs. my dream is to one day do a kind of association for parents and kids that are struggleling with all this stressfull situations ,, and help them be confident that everything is going to be ok... as long we have our precious kids with us... any suggestions on short careers.. please help so i can start looking for schools and programs..

Brenda, you are a very special lady.

I don't have any advice (yet, but I work at a university, so I'll ask around for recommendations), but I want to tell you that your goal is super!
