My son is 3 yrs and 2 months old. He has a speech delay and I'm at a loss about potty training. Any time he's gone it's been because I put him there. He knows what I mean when I say potty, pee pee, or poopie but he can't say any of those on his own. How can I get him to tell me he has to go potty if he can't say it? I can tell he's ready because he tells me "ew" when he needs his diaper changed and hates being in a dirty one. But until he can say anything that lets me know he has to go I don't know what to do. Any suggestions? I'm willing to try anything and I will really appreciate any help you all can give me. Thank you soooooo much!

You could try signing pee or poop or potty, or using sounds to associate pee and poop.
