I suffer greatly from anxiety, panic and depression.
Working mothers look down on me for being home with my teens.
Any one out here experience that?

Shame on them.No one should insult someone for their work,or their stay at home status.I suggest you either find,or start a support group in your area for others like you.I'm a home health nurse, peds. There is NOTHING wrong with being there for your kids.Kudos to you for being there. There are so many kids out there that don't have moral support. And later, after your kids leave home, they will be glad you were there for them. You could try meditating.Or listen to some ENYA music to relax. If none of that helps, get counseling to learn how to cope with the things making you anxious.Anxiety is the number one mental health problem out there. It's pretty common. And nothing to be ashamed of.We all have anxiety at times.Good luck to you.Don't let these working women judge you.Ignore them, and find people who back you up.Your own mom, neighbors,or friends.Take care.Lisa
