I would like advice from women who stopped lactating and was able to make there breast begin to lactate again. I stop lactating in my left breast only. I have no idea why. I want to be able to breast my baby from both breast until he is atleast six months.

Keep offering your left breast first at each feeding. Especially when baby is eager to nurse. How old is your baby? Lots of skin to skin. It is odd that your left side is affected but not your right. Did you have mastitis? Or a blocked duct, so that when baby sucked the milk was not draining? Blocked ducts are usually quite painful, and you will feel the milk back up and engorge the area behind the blockage. Your breasts ideally should feel full before feeding and feel soft afterwards. Mastitis is also painful and you will often times have a red area and a fever, it is indicative of an infection and can require antibiotics. Good Luck.
