How long after stopping bc does it take one to become pregnant?

It took my friend's wife 6 months to get pregnant and it took me a full year to become pregnant. She was only on the BC for two years and I was on it since I was 18 years old for medical reasons.

So that contributes to it along with what others have been saying.

I was on the pill for 7 years on depo for 6 months after and it took us over a year to get pregnant, i was told i would never have a child though...i was on BC for endometriosis at age 12. Then right after our son turned 1 we learned we were pregnant again and i was only off the pill for 2 weeks! Soon as i got my period we decided for me to wait a month before restarting because my cycle was all yep. It depends for everyone i guess:)

I had been on the pill for 3 years or so. Then i went on the needle, not sure what it's called. it works in 3 monthly doses. I had 2 doses of that then stopped in feburary, fell preg in may. so about 2 months for me. although for my mum it took her 6 years to fall with my little brother..

With my first, it took a year to become pregnant after I stopped bc. With the second, it happened immediately. Depends on what type of bc you were on and how long you were on it. My advice is not to stress on it too much. When you don't think about it is when it will happen. Good luck.

It depends on so many things like the type of BC were you taking and your general health.....
