My daughter has been waking up in the night throwing a fit because she can't breath out of her nose due to a cold. She makes it worse by crying. What can I do to relieve her stuffed nose so she can sleep?

Saline drops meant for little ones and a humidifier work awesome!!!!! Start it before bed time....maybe 15 minutes.....then suck all the contents of the nose out, saline drops and bed. It is always worst during winter time because of the heat in the house. Also consider moving the bed away from heat vent for now if that is possible. Good luck!!!

use a bulb syrenge and suck out the boogers. Also you could use a saline spray to loosen up the stuffiness. Do you have a humidifier in your home? My son had a horrible stuffy nose and I asked his doctor about what I could do and she reccommended a warm mist humidifier.

There are over the counter saline drops that help relieve stuffed noses. They also make ones especially for little ones and then you can use the bulb syringe to remove the junk. My ped gave me that advice and while my daughter hates to have her nose syringed...it really helps
