Teenage crop top/body type

My daughters friend Emma was wearing a crop top and let's say her body type is not as slim as my daughters and we were at the mall and a group of girls that my daughter hangs out with said something about her and ciecly (my daughter) wanted to tell her she can't wear that because of her body type what should I do?

Teach your daughter that it's not OK to control others. If her friend feels comfortable with her body, then it is no one else's place to tell her she needs to change.
Is your daughter truly concerned about her friend's well being, or is she more concerned that her other 'friends' will ostracize her for her choice of friends?

Personally, I think it is bad taste for ANY girls to be wearing crop tops out to the mall.

However, if this girl feels comfortable wearing them, who is your daughter to judge her?

Let your daughter know that unless her friend asks her for her opinion then she needs to not say anything.
Everyone is entitled to wear what they feel comfortable in within reason. Really it's something her Mother should be talking to her about if there any concerns.
Have a look around and you'll see many people wearing things that they really shouldn't!!! Sometimes you wonder if people even have a mirror in the house.
