Teenagers with cancer

My son has hodgkins lymphoma. He was diagnosed in April this year. Im finding it really hard dealing with this. I thaught I was doing ok, but I feel like im walking on the edge of a cliff. I have been offered support from so many councilors and social work , friends who are nurses, but I feel like no one knows unless you are living it. Is there anyone out there having to live this nightmare too?

Hi Sam- my daughter had non Hodgkin's lymphoma at 20 yrs old (in 2011)- she went through months of intense chemo - hers was called Burkitts Lymphoma, most aggressive kind, tumors double in size in 24 hours. She is totally healthy and and perfectly fine now but it was a life changing event for sure and your world seems upside down for a period of time. What kind of lymphoma is it? How long is chemo regimen? Hang in there- looking back that treatment time went so fast it is like a blip on the radar now but then it seemed it would never end! Dana
