Tips for dealing with Mono

I am a 24 year old mummy of a little boy who is almost 3. I run a day home Mon-Fri and work retail on Saturdays. My hubby is military and often worn out when he gets home so I take over most chores. I have been ill since January and after LOADS of tests the doctor has come to the conclusion that I likely have Mono. 2 years ago I had a tumor removed along with my spleen so I am now left a very low immune system and this Mono is kicking my butt. I can't afford to slow down so I was looking for any tips and/or ideas for how to get some energy back so I can work, be a mummy, and a wife without acting like a zombie. Please help!

I had Mono when I was 15.

It attacked my immune system and left me with almost no neutrophils. I have chronic acute neutropenia and it will never go away. You NEED to slow down. It's either slow down or possibly end up hospitalized or dead. That's the choice I'm often faced with. I don't like it, either, but I'd rather the house be a bit messy and we eat take out for a few days than end up in ICU again.

Slow down and rest.
