Tips for growing hair longer?

My 13-year-old daughter wants to grow her hair longer. I helped her trim it a little to get her split ends off in early January. Are there any ways to have her hair be longer because she complains it only has growth in the Summer? I told her to wash her hair at least once in 2-3 days and eat healthy and stay hydrated. Any other ways? She said that she searched up something online that says there's a special conditioner to make your hair grow longer...anything else?

Nothing will make your hair grow any faster than a half-inch to one inch per month. There are all sorts of suggestions online, but your really can't fool Mother Nature. Good nutrition, hydration and rest are important. Taking extra good care of the hair she has will help prevent splint ends and damage so she won't need to get as much trimmed off each time. You can look up different treatments if her hair is dry, curly or oily online.

No. Hair grows at the same rate no matter what. Certainly, ridding split ends helps, but other than that, she needs to be patient.
