I have about a week and a half to plan a party for my very girlie 5 year old. I feel like every party we've been to in the past year have been spas. I want to do something different but lack creativity

You know what? I really think all those spa, princess, and other themed parties are all over board and the kids really do not remember them that much this young. A birthday should be about having some family and friends together and letting the kids play, having a homemade cake with some ice cream, games, and the gifts and some photos. Those are the best kind of birthdays and I think kids remember them better. Plus you can put the money into something extra special then using it for a venue.

What about bowling alley, or a gym that has a gymnastic set up. Really it depends on what your daughter likes. More information would help. You can even do an at home party, and let her have some friends sleep over.
