Transitioning children from SOY Formula to Milk

Im a little confused about after 12 months what I should be doing MIlk wise. My daughter is allergic (well its complicated) to cows milk so shes on soy formula. I am not sure what i should be giving her to replace the formula. Id also like to try a different milk other than soy because I dont like Genetically modified foods. Unfortunately while she was a newborn it was the only option aside from the breast milk which i was already doing. It was very complicated as to why I slowed down on breast milk and increased the formula.

Back in the day they did not have soy formula so what mother's did was goats milk, which does not have lactose in it. Where do you find it, I don't know. I know I was so bad as a baby I couldn't even do breast milk so this is what my mom gave me.

You can look for organic soy milk, which does exist.

Another option would be almond milk. You can buy it or make at home to avoid gmo's
BTW this is delicious! I use raw local honey with the honeycomb in mine, it has a thickness close to peanut butter. It can be frozen to keep it from spoiling.

Or you can forgo milk altogether and give them calcium in other ways.
