Transitioning from formula to whole milk at night

My son is 11mo and im over stressing the fact that we need to switch to whole milk soon. He's tasted the whole milk and doesnt mind it.. So my Question is how do we do it at night? He still wakes up once maybe twice at night (sleeps for 10-12hrs) for his formula. Im most positive the regular milk won't fill him up. (We don't want tooth decay either) keep in mind he drinks water and deluted juice in his sippy cups (tommee tippy trainers, nuks, and munchkins) and formula in his bottles

i wouldnt give him milk at night at all personally. once you switch, i'd only give it to him during the day and switch to water for bed or when he wakes up. at 11 months its typically more of a habit than it is him being actually hungry especially if he is getting regular meals during the day, which he should be if you're feeding him formula and not breastmilk. it will be hard for the first few days but eventually he will chill out and maybe even start sleeping all night.
i'd try to feed him a meal within an hour before he goes to bed and he should be full all night, at least for 7 hours
