Travelling via plane with a toddler who has food allergies

My husband and I are travelling via plane with our 15 month old to Seattle next month, it is our first airplane travel. He has egg whites and milk allergies, so we have special snacks and milk, can we travel with these products, and if not what are my options? I have looked at TSA policies and they seem confusing and a bit contradicting at times, please help.

I fly between Philadelphia and Orlando with my 2 year old, and have been since she was 8 months old. I was always told, you can have liquids in a bottle or sippy cup if you have a child under the age of 2. You should have the bottle or cup out and ready to be examined. All they do is hold it up to make sure you don't have anything hidden in there, then they let you go.

I have taken milk and juice through security. The snacks will be fine as long as they are not liquid. If they are, have them out and ready for a quick examination.
