Visitation with father

My daughter who is 17 is going through a state if depression. Her father is a factor and I know this for a fact. It is court ordered that both of my children visit him every other weekend. I don't want to worsen her condition. What should I do?

Since you did not post the age of the other child, I can not say much on that one visiting or not with father. But where I live when they get into their teens at some point they can refuse to do so. So at 17, if you check with your state, see what the law has to say about visitations for this age range. I am the parent that gets visitation but my kid wants to come more than he gets to and I think he could choose to do so if he wanted to see me more often. It depends on the state and or country you are in but you can find out if this is true where you are. But if it is not, then just tell her to go to the visits and just deal as best she can because when she is 18 she can refuse altogether. She will be legally able to say no.
