wandering off 5 year old

my 5 yr old daughter has ran off a number of 3 times already once from my parents while they were at a park out of town with the church. Someone had to bring her back to them. The other two times was while she was attending daycare. She ran off from two different teachers two different times months apart practically almost a year between the incident at the daycare. It was so bad that the daycare said she can no longer go on any field trips. I've tried explaining to her that she can't run off, I've disciplined her, I've taken things from her, now I don't know what to do. It's bad that my daughter is already labeled by her a bad and disobedient child. Any advice on what to do to get through to her?

It sounds like you need to have her evaluated if she seems to be in her own world or you need to check on how well the child care was being or how much attention grandparents were paying to her where she was. I am surprised the child care did not have Department of Human services or state agency that covers them involved.
