I had supply issues since my baby birth and was struggling hard to establish a good milk supply but fenugreek, power pumping, oatmeals nothing worked until I started drinking Healthy nursing tea that is an herbal natural supplement and now I am successfully bfing my son since one year.

Thomas W. Hale, R.Ph. Ph.D., member of the LLLI Health Advisory Council, says this in his book Medications and Mothers' Milk (12th ed.):

Beer, but not other alcoholic drinks, has been reported in a number of studies to stimulate prolactin levels and breastmilk production. It is presumed that the polysaccharide from barley may be the prolactin-stimulating component of beer. **Non-alcoholic beer is equally effective.*** Avoid breastfeeding for 2 - 3 hours after drinking alcohol.

Guiness. It takes about 1 hour to metabolize the alcohol (1 drink) from your system...so give it a longer time before bfing just in case. I only had a beer when baby was in bed and I knew i would have 2-5 hours without bfing. I would always notice a difference in my supply by next morning.
