Heating, we live in an upstairs flat with no bedroom heating but have storage heaters at top and bottom of stairs and was just wondering if it is ok to leave these on all the time in winter when we have a five month old at home, want him to be warm but not get to hot, any advice would be appreciated, we have room thermometer so can keep an eye on temperature.

It should not be a problem leaving them on all the time, as long as you are home. Don't leave them on while you go out. Also, be sure to keep the baby away from them once he starts to crawl and walk.
Use your own comfort level as a guide. If you are hot, the baby is hot as well. If you are cold, the baby is probably cold as well.
