what age to start talking about sex and durgs with boys

8-10? I have a son, but he's not there yet. I think it depends on your child, their maturity, their cognition (ability to understand), and physical development. Personally I think WAY before puberty. The reason I said 8-10 is because they should also be made aware of the changes that girls go through because it will help them have an understanding of the changes everyone goes through (and hopefully if you have an empathetic child not be one of those bra-snapping monsters!).

Sex education in a way is a life long lesson. Kids learn this first with 'private parts' and not letting people touch them, then puberty, sex, birth control, abstinence, etc. My son is only 3 1/2 right now. I'm not looking forward to that time!
