What are some of the inopportune times that you've run into potty training emergencies with your toddler or preschooler?

We were on the way to the family locker room after swimming lessons. My daughter then stopped dead in her tracks and looked down and said, "No, poop." (she calls pee poop as well). On top of it she had to wait to use the bathroom. I can't believe she was able to hold some of it.

I remember one time we were taking a trip to NY to visit my parents about 4 hours from where I live. My son announced that he had to poop while we were driving along on the highway so we go off at the next exit, he sat on the toilet for 10 minutes and said "I guess I was wrong". Well we got onto a highway where the exits are about 30 minutes apart, as we approached a rest stop I asked "do you need to go to the bathroom", he said he was fine, literally within 5 minutes he's screaming that he needs to poop and he needs to poop now. That was the longest 20 minutes of my life!

That's kind of funny though. She is the same age as mine so I know how it is. Mine always has to poop at the most inopportune times too lol.

The library every time! She always has a pee before she goes out as she has been brainwashed to do so but I cant force her to poop. Every single time we go to the library she shouts at the top of her voice "mummy I need a pooh pooh" Great is the first thing that springs to mind!

I am sure the library staff love us every two weeks on a Sunday. Here she comes again, who is going to escourt them this time! :-(
