Which shows do you allow? Any shows you WON'T let them watch?

My oldest son LOVES all things Winnie the Pooh!! He's also a big Thomas the Train and Veggie Tales fan. We don't let him watch Spongebob!!! We don't have TV though...just movies so it's A LOT easier to monitor what he does or doesn't watch. We also don't do monsters or witches.

My 18 month old is on a Wiggles kick right now (yay for meeee!). He gets half an hour of Veggie Tales in the morning but rarely does he sit through an entire episode anymore. But Wiggles? Good Lord I'm so tired of hearing "Wiggle and Learn...Dance to the rythym of music..." It plays in my head long after the tv has been turned off lol So far, those are the only two shows he is interested in at all but I already know that I won't let him watch Spongebob. We'll see what will get banned in the future lol

My DD is almost 3, and she mostly watches Disney movies or shows from the Disney Channel - Handy Manny, Tigger and Pooh, Imagination Movers. She's also been enjoying watching Fraggle Rock on DVD (one of my childhood favorites) and Dora the Explorer and Elmo on DVD. I hate Sponge Bob and don't want her to watch that or other junk/violent cartoons. We also used to like the Magic Bus and a show about a boy and his pets who can jump into his book (I forget the name, since it's not on for us anymore). And we're introducing her to Sesame Street.

My son likes Word World and Super Why. He also likes Calliou, Dora the Explorer, Blues Clues, and Wonder Pets. I don't plan on letting him watch anything violent with fighting or guns. There are too many children watching Family Guy and the Simpsons which exposes them to inappropriate adult topics and humor. We won't be allowing those shows in our house.

My daughter who's 7months loves "The Wiggles"..ugh! She has watched them since she was about 4months old during chill out time. I don't like the adult cartoons like Simpsons and Family Guy and I try not to let her see the news.

As our daughters are 21 and 25 their favorite were Mr Rogers' Neighborhood and Sesame Street. We have friends that their children's favorite is Blues Clues, and Backraydagians. Their mom and dad do not like Sponge Bob Square Pants.

My 5 year old only watches cartoon shows. His favorite cartoon is Max&Ruby. He like to watch some of the cartoons on cartoon network, but I don't like some of them that he watches.
