What can I do for Mom's and children at our restaurant?

Hello Barrhaven Mom's. I am the manager at Capital City Smokehouse. We are trying really hard to gain a foothold in Barrhaven as a family restaurant. We have not been open very long and we have had our share of growing pains.

We now feel we are ready to service our neibourhood with fresh, home made product as opposed to the prepackaged ready to use product that many of the franchise restaurants use.

I want to know what I can do to get the word out to Mom's that we are a comfortable restaurant that caters to families.

What are your wants and needs when making the decision where to go for dinner?
What do your kids need and want?
What annoys you about certain establishments?

Basically, what can I do to get you and your family to try Capital City Smokehouse? And, more importantly, what do I need to do to keep you coming back and forge a relationship with you that will be long lasting?

I want to do something more than a simple Kids Eat Free night.

Would a Mommy and Me day once a week where Mom's can meet for lunch with their children in a comfortable and welcoming environment be something of value?

I really would welcome your comments.

Thank you in advance.
