Not a whole lot unfortunately! Cold mist vapor humidifer is great!
As well as saline & sucking the boogies out! lol Johnson & Johnson does have the great baby wash that has vapor to it that does help too. There is also a vicks baby rub now which is great! Good Luck!

If your baby has a fever , I'd get him/her to the dr. asap. especially with one so young.Vicks BABYrub(not vaporrub) worked good for my son, just rub a small amount on his chest.A vaporizer helped clear up the congestion in his chest.we put it in his room for only one night and the next day it was loosened up and he was coughing it out(the cough sounds horrible but is needed to get that mucous out)

A humidifier or going in the bathroom and running the shower on hot for steam is a good suggestion. Some doctors do not recommend Vicks or other mentholated ointments in the very young or elderly as they cause a person to feel as though they are breathing well, it tricks the brain, and causes them to breathe even more shallowly, leading to pneumonia and hypoxia. http://forums.parenting.com/blogs/daily-... This is linked directly to an in-depth study. Use a nasal suction bulb to keep the nose as clear of mucous as you can, but don't go chasing boogers that you can't see as it will cause more to develop faster (by irritating the mucosal lining). If it's causing odd sounds while breathing, such as a whistle, or she's having problems and you can see her gasping, bring her to the ER and they can start her on nebulizer treatments, which you can usually continue at home safely.

There really isn't much to do when they are that young. We would give Tylenol for a fever or to minimize discomfort. Johnson & Johnson makes a vapor bath (in a green bottle) that is really great. There is also a vapor plug that you can buy, which looks like a Glade plug-in, and you add a little disk and it fills the room with a vapor to help them breathe. Vick's baby rub is also really great. Other than that, there is not much you can do but offer lots of cuddles and love.

There isn't much you can do. You can put vicks vapor rub on the bottle not the nipple so the baby can breathe easier or if you are breastfeeding rub it on your chest. Check with your doctor b
first but saline nose drops to try and loosen up what's in his nose and suction it out with a boogie bulb. Try taking him
into the bathroom with you the hot steam may help a little. Also a humidifier at night near the crib. Hope your little one is feeling better soon!

there is not much u can do other then panadol for the fever and symptoms and a chest rub i use Euky Bearub or vicks babybalsam a bit on the chest the back and bottom on the feet then put socks on him usually helps and invest in a nasal asperator it will help with the snotty nose and clear him airways all this dosent cure but it helps and thru the cold weather the chest rub will help keep it at bay all the best :)
