What are we teaching our children by NOT standing up to the media? Seriously do we really care about Kim Kardashians Belly Bump? why does the media pay Unheard of amounts for Pics of celebs? Is that what we want our children to think is important in life? And what can we do to turn it around?

You can't change what you're kids think are important. They love the celebrity gossip? Fine. Love painting? Amazing. Its mighty rude and con-trolling to try to decide what they want to spend their time doing or reading or thinking about. If you loved reading about a celeb as a kid, would you want your mom to destroy your interests?

I honestly couldn't agree more.I don't want in 10 years from now (when my son hunter is a teenager) for the latest news on "Kimye's" red carpet outfit (what their calling Kim and Kane's child) or what Justin Bieber and who ever are up to now.Because quite frankly I couldn't care less.!their are so many more important things that media could be used to keep us informed on instead all we see is basically a small slice in important thing and the latest sports scandle and celebrate baby bump splurred everywhere.Celebrates are people too I mean Kim Kardashian yes she is majorly famous although I don't particularly care for her but yet he ins and outs of her world are just blurred everywhere,I mean no one is reporting on my baby bump are they? No because I'm a regular human being like the rest of the population.I want Hunter to have proper values not to think who earns more or who is "more famous" is the most important thing! I can't imagine what it would be like to be a celebrity I mean they can't fart without it being all over every cover and channel!
