What do you do whan you find out your 13 yr old daughter has been having sex in your home while you're gone.

Everything that both of these ladies have said, in addition to getting her checked. Even if her partner was only 13 as well, if he'd been experimenting elsewhere...never hurts.

Plus, this was something that came up with my friend and her daughter as well, and they also ended up having to get her into counseling. Something about sex before the age of 15 somehow messes with your hormones. and can cause psychotic incidents.

But, first of all, I'd sit her down and ask her why she was doing it. What was she hoping to gain or accomplish? Was it because she feels she doesn't "fit in"? Is it because of peer pressure? Or is there some other insecurity in her life (real or imagined) that made her think this was a good choice? You never know...with my friend, it was because her daughter thought she'd be more "popular". But she found out that it backfired, and ended up having suicidal issues.

You and she will be in my thoughts and prayers.

PLEASE discuss sex with her asap. Talk about protection, show her how to put a condom on, tell her how she can get pregnant, std's, the whole gamete! She is already having sex, so she really REALLY needs the right information. Good luck!

Thank you, and my son and his wife just had a new baby. Going to have her babysit one school night and on the weekend. I had so much trust in her. But she will never be left alone again. She will either be at her gandmothers who is very strict, or my sons house, but never alone again. Thank you again.

Babysit a newborn, inform her of just how much it costs to raise a baby from birth til 18 on your own, show her pics and stories about what std's can do to you, find out WHY she feels the need to be sexually active at such a young age, put her on birth control, and never leave her alone again until she's 18.....

Those are just a few of the random thoughts that first popped into my head.
