Does anyone know of a good book for young girls about puberty? All the ones I have seen talk about sex WAY too much.I really want a book that describes puberty, but that does not get into too much detail about other stuff.

Any suggestions would be immensely appreciated.

The American Girls books are great :) We bought the first one (The Care and Keeping of You) for our daughter when she was 8 and it really helped her understand. Also, it doesn't talk about sex, just the changes in a girls' body and how to take care of their changing bodies.

Is it too cheesy to suggest "Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret" by Judy Blume? It is a classic. I know it's kind of old, but it seemed pretty timeless when I read it as a young girl. It's also pretty much guaranteed to be in your local library.
