Its me again I am full of questions so bear along with me My daughter will be attending a day support program Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays 8 to 12 p.m. I was told the van has her time to be picked up at 7:15 to look out between 7 and 7:30 now she has medcinies to take 2 for her seizures and one for her hdhd.
I will have to feed her before she goes she will eat lunch there I have to pack that I hope to bath her at night but like I posted my other question Brittany wakes up so early I am bone tied tired most times and then I am no good to do anything during school I tried my best to work on bathing her at night so I would not have so much to do of mornings never really worked.

How do I get a rountie where I dont have to do so much of mornings she needs assistance with dressing etc I will pack her lunch at night she will have to eat before she leaves

If you can get into a routine where she has a bath at night and you pack her lunch before going to bed, then when you wake up you can do meds, have breakfast, get dressed, and be ready for bus. If she doesn't tend to be hungary right away, then do breakfast last. If it seems like she really likes getting dressed then you can use that as the reward, "as soon as breakfast is done we can go pick out your clothes". What age level does she function at? From your other post it seems like she is toddler functioning level, but many 18 yr Down's children I am familiar with are capable of functioning anywhere from 5 and up. You may just need to be able to trust that she will be able to dress herself and do some of the basics. Giving her a little more independance will reduce your stress level and you won't end up feeling so exhausted in the long run. Keep in mind that it is a learning process. You might have to set out her clothes the night before or there might be days where she wears the same thing two days in a row. It might be best to try starting on days when she isn't going to the program. What was your routine when she went to school?
