My daughter is 10 months old and only takes 1 bottle at night. She drinks her formula out of a NUK sippy cup during the day and does great with it! My son who is now 3 also used the same brand of cups and was off the bottle at 10 months completely.

My daughter didn't like any sippy cup until I purchased those disposable ones (which i don't dispose of, rather wash and reuse). She still took the bottle for a night bottle until 15 months old. However, my son, at 11 months was so done with the bottle. I gave him the same sippy cups (well, new ones, but same brand) and he didn't want the bottle again! They're cheap and they worked. I think partly they were a hit because they form to your child's teeth and bite marks.

My son refuses to drink milk out of a sippy cup so still has his bottle. But he will drink juice out of his sippy cup. I think its just trial and error and see what type of cup your daughter takes best.

When our son was 12 months he used a avent hard top sippy cup when we were out and about but used a regular cup when we were home. I think that your daughter could use the straw sippy's now. Our son was using one at 8 months.

The sippy cups with a handle on each side is what my daughter does best with. We just switched her to a sippy from a bottle about a week ago. She would not hold her own bottle, but she does great with a sippy. Go figure. ♥

The day both my older boys turned 1 I tried to get them to use sippy cups. The problem I had with my oldest is that his now middle brother was born on his birthday so he wouldn't take to it. So I never pushed then a few days later he asked for it and I stopped using the bottle. For my middle son same thing on his birthday I gave him a sippy cup but it took him a week to get use to it. I use the gerber sippy cups that change color to let you know it's warming up. My oldest now is using platex sippy cups that look like travel mugs he's getting closer to not needing a sippy cup. I basically just took the bottles away and gave them sippy cups. Some people thought it was mean but I didn't have a huge problem going from the bottle to a sippy cup like some other people have. Good Luck!

We are using the take and toss sippy cups... only we don't toss them. With my first two kids, we went from sippy cup to regular cups. The only time they used the straw cup was in the car.

My son drinks his milk and formula from a bottle still. Water, he drinks out of a Nuby Sippy. We've boughten quite a few different kinds and this is the only one that he'll use.

Mine never took a bottle. But, they started with sippies at about 5-6 months. They really liked the Avent cups with the green spout. It's firmer for teething kids. They had a straw one, just confused them, and a couple of others. In the tub, they would drink out of a regular cup.

i think it just is trial and error in what cup your child likes my son stopped the bottle at 9 months and the only cups he liked was the ones with the straws so i think it just depends which one your daughter likes.
