My teenage daughter is 13 and is dating a 16 year old that she has known for 3 years and i walked in on them while they were " Doing homework " i dont wanna get him in trouble but i dont want her acting like this i want my baby girl back and i found out she is using birth control and carrys a Trojan condom every where she goes should i be suspicious

Well, she is not a baby anymore. As a mother, being in denial is an automatic reaction. But it looks like you might be over due for a sex talk. Forbidding her to see her boyfriend is pointless, and it will cause a potentially unrepairable rift between the two of you. Right now, you need open communication with her (no matter how much it may make you cringe) The more she feels comfortable with you, the more she tells you, the more you can talk to her on a different level than just a parent. Sometimes the parent card works against us.

Yes, like Rachael said, you should be suspicious. If she is always carrying around a condom with her, it is obviously for a reason. I know it seems difficult to take in, but if you make too much of a big deal over it, she could end up sneaking around with him anyways and probably purposely do it just because she will know it bothers you.

you should be suspicious, but in all reality if she really wants to have sex or fool around with this guy she will.
