what would make your period come early?

I know stress can make it come later, but why would it come early? I've had a nice, predictable 24 day cycle for about the past 8 months, since I started getting it again. My last period was Jan 29, I wasn't supposed to get another one till Feb 22, but lo and behold, I got it on Feb 19. What's up with that? I'm just annoyed because now my whole calendar is messed up! I went through and calculated a roundabout date for my period each month because we're planning on trying for another baby at the end of March and I'm trying to determine when's a good time and this just throws everything out of sync! The only thing I can think of is we did have sex that day and that might've had something to do with it, but 3 days early???

Your body is a very unique piece of art. Each one of us is different. I had 3 normal cycles before I knew I was pregnant with my first. It wasn't till I started getting morning sickness. Like I would have a bad morning then it would just go away. I would crave a certain food, eat it then it would just not stay. I worked at a day care and that owner said, your pregnant. I said, no you think you would know something like that. I told her besides I haven't missed any periods. She told me that was not always the case, she was a registered nurse as well so I trusted her judgment and made a doctors appt. Sure enough I was 3mo pregnant and that was my last cycle till after birth. Moral is it may not be what it seams. If you are trying you may want to check with your doctor on what your cycle is doing especially if you are trying to get pregnant. You may already be or your body is prepping it self for conception? Best of luck.

I failed math so I could be very wrong here, but the number of days in a month change often, some are 30, some are 31 and this month will only be 28..... with a cycle that usually runs 28 days you would expect the date to change as the year progress's.... But like I said I could be wrong on this !

Anything can affect your cycle: stress, eating too much, eating too little, illness, or just normal hormone fluctuations. It's normal for a woman to vary slightly (up to 7 days) in her cycle length.
