Since the day my daughter was born I've dressed her with a vest (onesie) under her clothes. The only times I've not put her in a vest was when we visited my family in Phoenix when she was 2 months old...it was very hot! and in the 2 weeks it gets hot here in the UK last summer :P She'll be 2 in August and I'm thinking when it gets warm this summer I'll stop dressing her with a vest and not continue any more from there...When do other people stop?

I stopped with the vests at size 0, the summer he turned 1 because half the time he wore a nappy and that was it. But he's back in them because it's now winter.

My son wore onesies until he was two if we were just in the house hanging out. I never really had him wear a onesie under his clothes unless he was already in one and we were going somewhere and then I'd just pop on a pair of shorts and his shoes and off we went. I'm like Sara, whatever the weather required or permitted me to wear, he pretty much wore the same. Shorts for me? Shorts for him. Etc.

I dress my kids like I dress myself. If I need a sweater, they get a sweater. If I'm okay in shorts, they wear shorts.

I stopped onesies at age one, or when ever the first summer hit, those things are WAYYY to warm for summer time.
