I am a single mom with twins who are 29 months, they have never been away from me and i feel like its time for them to go and develop life out side of me. My daughters love playing with other kids when i am able to find a social group, but i feel that they need more time to be with other kids. What do you think, i am a stay at home mom, and things been ruff for me other to that i have used my time wisely with my daughters by teaching them and having them already prepared for school, they are able to read, learning to write, and have mastered everything that a child needs for Pre--K & Kindergarten, I am going to continue home schooling them, but i am asking home many of you have home schooled your children, and what did you do for them to develop the necessary social time. I have deceide to put them in daycare part time to develop more social skills, and life out side of me and to learn things that i can not teach them. Is that ok for me to place them in daycare, or should i keep the with me and take them to different social groups. Should i wait until they are older to place them somewhere to socailze, or should i let them go now to learn more social skills. this beinging a mom of twins is new to me and i want to make sure i am doing everything right, not only that i have a lot to learn about twins and i need a little help my desire to homeschool my kids, and and make sure i am giving them a equal balance of school and play. so can you please help me, understand what a single stay at home mom is to do.

The earlier they learn the social skills the better in my opinion. Maybe even find some story telling sessions at your local library or some playgroups in your area.

I have never home schooled and my oldest 2 were in daycare at 6 months because I had to return to work. My youngest stayed at home with me for 18 months but we were always at the school with the boys so she socialized with all age groups.
