Can anybody help me? I'm new to this group. For weeks now I've had headaches all day everyday, tired, feel sick etc etc. . . . I've had the coil for about 9 months now, but now and then it feels like my coil is stabbing me (sometimes it's when I lean forwards) this morning I checked it and noticed the strings have totally disappeared.!! I don't think I'm pregnant as I've recently had a period which is annoying on its own as I thought the coil would stop my periods but sadly not lol. Has anyone else had this happen to them???.....

Go and see your doctor ASAP. If it has moved or embedded itself in your uterus then it needs to be surgically removed.
The Mirena doesn't stop periods in 100% of women. You're probably the unlucky 10-20% it doesn't stop them for.
