Baby skins feels like sandpaper
My LO will be three months on the 22nd of this month and his skin feels like sand Paper. It started off as what seems to be as heat rash all over his body. His Ped said it was normal for all babies on all 3 occassions .Since then I have stoped the heaters in our rooms although its Winter except when we are going to bath and last few minutes afterwards. What do I do?id

Have you tried gentle lotions like Aveeno? That should really help moisturize. Also, you need the heat in the winter. Instead of not using heat, get a few cool mist humidifiers around the home to keep the dry heat moist heat.

I would not ever put any steroid on my baby unless specifically directed to by my doctor. But I do think the other information is great. Don't forget a cool mist humidifier!

Hi Miss Little,
Thanks alot foe your suggestions.I live in Germany and have not seen that lotion in most stores but I will sure order it online. I have really tried alot of baby moisturizers and unrefined oils like olive, coconut, shea etc.He keeps scratching and rubbing his face with his attire.I feel so sad and sorry for my LO.Our house is queit warm my hubby goes about all day in his boxers only.

Thanks
