Thanks, just curious as I have a not very close friend who's views and opinions go totally against what I believe in and this is clouding the friendship. Just wondered if it might help to just be a bit more selective about who I am friends with.

I know people like that. I consider them a friend...but I just limit my interaction with them. I try to plan things where our "problem" areas- don't come up or are not an issue. It can be hard..just depends on what your issues/problem is.

Value all your friendships! There is a reason that you are friends in the first place..right?? People tend to give up on friendships/relationships too easily. You have to work at them. Sometimes you just have to agree to disagree and move on to something that is more important.
