Coming home to the war zone!!!

So, as I am now in year 5 of our stay at home dad adventure I have realized that as soon as I walk in the door my husband cannot wait to unload. It doesn't matter if it is a good day or a bad day, but when I walk in I get the rant of every bad thing that happened and totally checks out. It;s not that I don't enjoy handling dinner and doing story time, but when he unloads about the bad things that happened, it makes me question our decision to have him stay at home.
Do any of you deal with this as well? If so, how do you handle it?

I am almost 13 weeks pregnant and working part time to subsidise our income as my partners business is not earning at the moment. We have 2 older children and I made it quite clear that I was going to be the stay at home parent, which is how it has always been with my other children (they are not his) but he informs me that he wants me to say that he will be looking after this child full time so he can get the benefits from the he doesnt have to work. He would rather stay at home and do nothing. I wouldnt mind if he was any help around the house....but he makes more mess than my other kids. How do I convince him to find some proper full time work,, so I can stay at home with our baby???? I am only working right now so I can affored to buy the necessary stuff for this child. HELP

I use to vent about work all the time, now I do it rarely, but maybe he needs friendships. You can't meet all of his needs. If anyone has ideas on how to get hubby out of the house or how to set up man-dates, please let me know! :)

Yes! I have to work really hard to stop myself from what I want to say, "If you can't handle it, I'd be more than happy to trade!"
