Be careful of the foods you eat. Introduce new stuff slowly because you may think you have gas but it isn't. When I first had mine out that was what I thought I had and then I had to go home and change!

It takes time, but gradually increasing your activity level as you can tolerate helps.

Time and warm compresses. The bloating will only take care of itself unfortunately. It's awful but it will go away. Don't be surprised if you get "phantom attacks" similar to the gallbladder pain you had pre-surgery. I still get those from time to time and I had mine removed years ago. I usually get them if I eat a lot of pop-corn or hard to digest foods like that. It's nothing to be alarmed about but the first time it happens it can be frightening if you don't know what it is. Good luck and take your time healing. Don't lift and do listen to what your doctor told you to do!

The bloating will go down with time...remember DO NOT eat fried foods and dairy products...your system is no longer the same...I remember if you feel full while your bloated you can drink seltzer water...Good Luck!!!
