Jaslene doesn't want to sleep in her bed any more.
What can I do to encourage her?
She is 25 months

You put her in her bed and every single time she gets out of her bed and her room you put her right back. You say good night to her once, maybe twice and then don't say a word to her again no matter how many times you have to put her back in her bed.

good luck.

you have to make going to be a routine for her, reassure her, get ready for bed together and read her a book, will take some time to get it through to her but the perserverance will pay off. Its not going to happen over night.

I would tell my child 1/2 hour before bed time "were going to get ready for bed in 1/2 hour. do you want to get a book ready" then follow up with "have you got your book ready were going to get into our pj's next." and just keep going on like that, you need to have both you and your husband together on the same page for this to work aswell. I would always have the same time each night regardless of what was happening in the house. (visitors and tv shows)

Good luck

It's just like, wheening off the breast or bottle, then there's toilet training and dinner... etc... don't worry she won't be there forever...I used to put my daughter back in her bed when she's asleep but I tell her that I'll be doing that before she she doesn't get scared when she wakes up in the middle of the night ;-)
