back at work, and my daughter is turning 3 months on Sunday and my milk has dried up. It makes me sad because I wanted to breastfeed her as long as possible. All I can think is, if I hadn't gone back to work so soon (which I had to, I'm the sole breadwinner in my family) I could have done it longer.

I was pumping at work but it didn't seem to be helping. It dried up anyway. And honestly, I can't afford to buy breastmilk. But thank you for your assistance and support, it's always appreciated and needed.

You can pump from work and if it has not been too long you can get your supply back. Mothers milk tea bought at health food stores works great and also talk to a lactation consulatant at the local hospital and they can give you some ideas on how to get your supply back. best of luck and keep me posted on how its going. Jessica, thank you. Every once in awhile you need a little encouragement and today was the perfect day for it.

Never feel guilty for doing what you had to do in order to support your family. Three months is a great start for her. Even a short period is better than none at all. Concentrate more on the quality of the time you spend with her and the bonding you can share with her.
