2018 is the year to check off estate planning on your to-do list! Whether you are a new parent or a seasoned parent of teenagers or college-age kids, you need a Will. If you lack this basic document and something were to happen to you, a Judge will decide who should take care of your children. Just imagine your aging parents taking care of your children--That should make you realize how awful this situation could be for your children.

I am a local mother in Northern Virginia, and I can make it easy for you to create an estate plan this year. I will meet you at your office, home, or nearby coffee shop, or we can work through the phone and e-mail so that you don't have to go out of your way to get these important documents executed. My rates are flat fees, and I have different packages to accommodate a wide range of needs and budgets.

A graduate of Brandeis University, Duke University School of Law, and Georgetown Unversiity, I have more than 20 years experience practicing law in Virginia and the District of Columbia.

I am a business and estate planning lawyer and unfortunately do not work in the area you are referring to.

I draw SSI, my son was turned down for SSI a couple of years ago. We both have Medicaid. My son has been on the Michelle p waiver program waiting list for 3 years. If he is approved for the MPW, can I draw my SSI and the waiver money for taking care of my son, or does SS take my SSI away from me?
